Thanks R_G_R, great to hear you enjoyed the read. Indeed, things are definitely going to be altered after this night. Tyler has put the chaos theory into motion - and we all know what's at the end of these particular butterfly wings. Great to have you on board and reading - hope you enjoy the rest of our little ride. c-

Man, I just finished reading this and I can say I LOVED IT. Somehow I have the feeling that whatever happens to the kid, they are going to blame Dan.

Haha..we all have our issues. I think it's the mind that makes things worse. We are able to create crazier things in the mind than reality could ever offer. Don't even get me started on the tree from Poltergeist. Couldn't sleep in my room for weeks, as I had that same looking tree out my window. Like I said, we all have issues. c-

I have to say... those guys haunted you as a kid? O.o errr. well... who am I to judge? When I was little I saw the movie Pirahnna on TV and for weeks was scared to sit on the toilet for fear of a pirranha coming up out the sewer and latching onto my bottom. Yes.. true story. I got over it but man that was disconcerting. Now I look back and go "dude... wtf. I was that naive about plumbing?"

I think Dean is just messing with Tyler at this point. They know he's not the real scaper, but Ty wanted to play the role. Based on the fact Dean believes the real scaper is dead- Ty will have to do as a replacement for his revenge for his now crispy face. Basically, Dean is just saying...ok, you want to be the LS? Fine, welcome to the wonderful world of the true vigilante...hope it's every thing you dreamed it to be. c-

Gosh, you'd think they notice his hoodie is now orange? Jeez ;-)

Indeed Ruxton - Although, "vs" my be too strong a term at this stage Patients young Damo - it's nice to see we have sadistic folks who read this comic. Sorry Ty, it seems not all wish you well in the outcome of your journey. However, "deserves" is kind of harsh. Not sure he deserves a beatdown - that is unless you've been rooting for Dean the whole time - which is completely fine...which in that case, it makes complete sense. Although the fact you want to see "pumpkin soup" is a bit unsettling...depending upon which you are referring to. No disrespect taken - Again, I wish I could post more pages - more frequent...as I too am an "impatient mofo." Ahh Karen - Dean (Scab) could definitely handle the responsibilities of both roles. Although, I'm not quite sure what requirements are needed to hold the title of "Scab". I do feel "Reaper" would look so much cooler on business card though. Sometimes when you record things for posterity, it always comes back to get you. Thanks - I'm glad you like the skull hoodie :) Inspiration you say? There are a few things that inspired this particular attire. I wanted something that differentiated Dean from the rest of the group - as we did with Caleb in the first two issues. Caleb was always cast in shadow from his hood, and was the only one branded by the scaper in issue 1. Caleb's hood was kind of like his mask - a way to hide his features - and to give him a different persona. This is the same with Scaper and Ty. When the mask is on - it takes you to a different level, creates a new persona - which allows you to do things you may not be able to accomplish with out them. For Dean, this was his mask. I've seen these skeleton hoodies when doing research for the character. I think I saw one on the train on my way home from work. I really like how ominous they seem, esp when the front face was zipped down. The real ones looked a little cheesey, so I needed to bump it up a notch in our version. There was just something fitting for the character of Dean. The fact it was a hoodie - allowed me to have this ability to show small glimpse of the skull on all the subsequent pages, but never really reveal this was what we were going to do (although you did pick up on it in earlier pages...well done :) Because the hood could be unzipped - it allowed me to show Dean's face through out the majority of the arc, still allowing me to zip it down when the time was right. So in essence, this is Dean's mask. He also wanted to project an image on the recording that was not his own, but still showed he wasn't playing games. The image of the skull also was a good visual tool for Tyler as well - when facing your demons sometimes you need to look at it's true face. There was also something about having this skull covering an already demonic face to begin with. So it gave the reader an idea, that we know what's really behind that mask - and more - what he's capable of. The second influence is based on a scene from a movie which will always stay with me as one of those moments you'll always remember. In the original Karate Kid - the Cobra Kai chase Daniel through a field dressed as Halloween skeletons. They finally catch up to him at the fence. The image of these guys dressed like that - haunted me as a kid. I wanted to pay homage to that moment - with one of the characters dressed in this type of outfit. So all in all a few influences sparked the hoodie. Great to see it was received well :) Thanks Raron, I'm sure many share in your hatred of the man...I know... I'm one of them. Agreed, the hoodie is awesome. I think I might pick one up - however, I'm not sure I would be able to pull it off the same way as Dean. Maybe I need horrific burns to the side of my face...if that's the case - I may refrain from getting that hoodie after all. Thanks again guys for your continued support of the comic - I couldn't do it without'cha. c-

Hmm, I'm sensing a premotion from Scab to Grim Reaper. Also, the tape is gonna wind up on the news, I bet. I like what you did with the hoody there, what inspired it? :D
  13. Damo
... are we ever gonna see this kid get his beat down he so thoroughly deserves..? I WANNA SEE PUMPKIN SOUP DAMMIT!! Sorry, no disrespect, I'm just an impatient mofo
