Yeah, realism can be harsh... real harsh. I think though that this will not be the end of our beloved pumpkin. Kid has too much will to just give up. Once he recovers from this "set-back" I think he will grow stronger, and smarter.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I'll be able to chat to you more about it all when this arc concludes. I'll say this; We all face our demons in life. Ty's faced his tonight. Succeed or fail- just standing in front of them is the true victory.. Agreed. "pain is better than living in fear" c-

Karen... this is the Landscaper... do you think he is gonna see something like that on tv... sit in bed and go "oh no.. poor me poor poor me"?... Not with that nurse whispering in his ear, sitting on his shoulder feeding his rage... probably not even without her. He was ready to fold, this guy is raising the stakes and I think LS is gonna call him on it... As for Wildcard... Honestly... hopefulll not the eyes, as long as it is not that he will survive what the staple gun does... and I think the pain is better then the living in fear.

I am not going to engrave his tombstone yet myself... but it does not look good for him.

Staples on his mouth and in his eyes I bet. The real Landscaper will see about our poor Pumpkin on TV and blame himself. *le sigh*. Pity, and I was really hoping he would be a lasting character, too. At least he had a good run...

Go gardenboy! Become a symbol for everyone to rally to! sure you'd be a dead martyr type symbol but a symbol non the less!

Dean just has to kick it up a notch. I don't miss Caleb much anymore if this is the caliber we get when he is gone. The last panel... brilliant...just brilliant. A sense of forboding, great emphasis on the lit cigarette, and the short...simple "He's ready for his close-up, now"
