Wow, you guys really read what I write - most of the time I just ramble on about unrelated things that have little to do with the question asked, or the comment posted. Actually, Raron - you make a great point. In the grand scheme of things...Landscaper isn't that bad after all. "The Dock" would be much worse to intimidate would be crims - but in the end it's not the name that nailing you to a wall...so what's really in a name. c-
Well... he could have been watching star trek and we would be dealing with "The Worf" which would just be confusing. "Wait... so what.. you are like... a dock?"
Hey all, welcome back to the weekly adventures of Pumpkin Jack, vs - the random white eyed enemy of the week... I had such a hard time holding my tongue after hearing every ones concern about Tyler's choice of weaponry. Knowing fully that a staple gun, however powerful enough to penetrate wood - at a long range, doesn't really do anything other than really annoy the aggressor. Though, I have to say, shooting a staple gun in my garage as reference, it did ricochet off the tin walls with a fair bit of force, and may have annoyed the aggressor a little more than depicted in the panel...However, It needed to be done. Now the question is; Did Tyler know that this was going to be as ineffective, and decided to use it as a way to put them off guard - or - did he just have a realization that he now is holding a relatively useless, heavy, metal, DYI brass knuckle. I'm not sure if Tyler could have planed that far ahead on his little bike ride over to the park...but he might have played the playing opossum card, and it worked like a charm. Ouch, staple gun to the face....I'm glad I could get a giggle out of you - even though we all knew it was coming, but hey, this is Landscaper - hopefully most of the time you don't know what coming next....hopefully.
I too hope the LS continues for a long time - I will do my best to keep it going as long as I can - or until I kill off all the characters in one issue. Maybe issue #32 "Capo Stands Alone" Dan decides to use Plutonium in his rotating gauntlet clips....oh Dan. Oh Karillion...Go Capo! Anyway, until that day - I shall continue. Just happy to hear you're all still enjoying the LS world. Also, I really do wish I could post more than one page a week., and when the clones come in - it should be a little easier to do so. They seem to be stuck in customs, and I'm going to have to make some call on that.
I believe everything said with *British Accent* just sounds a little cooler. Or anything that ends with "Ol' Chap" . I still think Robo-Bug is a great name...now he has so many to chose from...Poor Dan, only has The Landscaper...and I'm pretty sure in issue#1 Caleb called him "The Gardener", but still no where as cool as what Tyler's been branded with. See kids, this is what happens when you chose your vigilante name based on a what a TV personality tells you...if only he was watching a cooler show.. c-
Panel 8: *British accent* Hmm, doesn't seem like this will work, ol' chap...
Panel 9-10:Oh well, let's try the brutal way, shall we m' boy?
Glad to see *that* reaction instead of an oh-crap-this-wasn't-a-good-idea one. Go Robo-Bug!
I whole hartedly approve of the whole "i hope this doesnt end" thing and i would recommend to the dude to drop the stapler and go for a double handed grip on that slugger...
Hehehe...somehow I knew the staples would be rather ineffective, but awesome that he turned it into a melee weapon with ease. I'm really loving this comic, I hope it doesn't end for a very long time.
