Hey Raron, awesome feedback! First off, we are honored that you chose to take the time out to comment on this particular web comic. We can't tell you how much comments like these mean to us. It proves to the LS team and myself that all the hard work and time that goes into making these weekly comic pages is well worth it. I do agree with the misleading title and initial visual of the comic (of course after reading further, hopefully the concept and underlying meaning of the title makes more sense ), and I can see how this could be perceived as rip off or spoof of other comics such as Batman or the Punisher - which was always something we needed to face when we deciding to do a vigilante story. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of the Punisher character - more so for the idea that he's not riddled with super powers, and I can kind of imagine myself in his boots...well...after many many years of military training of course, and a greater knowledge of a kick ass arsenal of weapons. I think it's this kind of mentality we came into this comic with, and are finding many like yourself who like a more realistic approach to the characters and story arcs. Of course the realistic approach has pretty much spawned out the fact that the comic is based on real events that took place which developed the character and over all theme. It begins - The origin of the Landscaper comic. I'm so happy to hear you were pleasantly surprised at the outcome of the comic, and that we were able to keep you interested to read through all previous issues in one sitting. This comics success thus far truly comes down the collaboration of the LS team. We really have some very talented people involved in all aspects of the comic, including some amazing writing from Iskandar in issue 2-3 and Shinead who just joined the writing team in issue 3, our editor Emmet, and the rest of the LS trust. All these ideas are created from a bunch of creative comic geeks (the LS trust) sitting in a room throwing out concepts and possible story arcs. I think too because we all care about these character and the Landscaper world, we too love seeing it develop over the three issues. We're amped to hear that you liked Dan's internal battles as well. We debated back and forth on this one, but in the end felt it just seem like the right move to make for our character. Everyone has that internal demon we deal with on a day to day basis, and by isolating Dan socially it just made the voice much more pronounced in his case. We liked the idea of creating a character(s) who is flawed, not just emotionally - but mentally as well. It's the classic good vs evil, but within in one body....which I'm sure we can all relate to in our own lives. Thank you so much for recommending this comic to your friends...this is why we do it, so people like yourself can sit down and enjoy being a part of this world ... even if it is only once a week. Thanks again, Raron for your great feedback, and we hope you continue to join us each week for the continuation of the LS comic. Please feel free to continue to post feedback, on the comic whenever you feel the urge. c-

Hey I just wanna say I have been a long time comic reader and have seen these little comment boards for a while but this is the first one I have commented on. This comic drive me to say... Good job man! I mean when I saw the title I laughed. Landscaper. Thought it was gonna be some stupid spoof off the punisher and good for a laugh and a giggle of how lame it is... HOW WRONG I WAS. This was an immediate bookmark as I finished all the issues so far in one sitting. This is not some lame rip off. This is it's own thang (Yes I said thang... roll with it.) and I have been recommending this to all my friends who are into this sort of comic. The whole scenario you have spun is awesome. The characters seem real. The Landscapers inner dilemmas seem real as his darker side. His Id so to speak spurns him on to do more but instead he uses the Id as he sees fit. Keeping a tight leash on it... Reminds me of Vimes from the Diskworld series and I like that. So all in all please please please keep up the good work. So until North calls in a Megazord make mine Landscaper!.... (Holycrapmarvellawyerninjasahhhh!)

Thanks Spess, great feedback. One of the key elements I wanted in this comic was a sense of reality - highly exaggerated at time, but still based in some kind of reality. I think these types are stories have an appeal based on the fact that the reader feels somehow more connected to story. I know I would if I was an outside reader. I really wanted to avoid superpowers, guns(hand guns anyway), and gratuitous killings as much as possible - more of a development of characters and the experiences these characters go through in this heightened world, which I guess is the goal of all stories. Because this comic and creation of the LS character are all based on my own frustrations with particular experiences, there would be more of a sense that these events could be take place given the right chain reaction, as this is how I saw it playing out in my head. I'm amped to know that you are now somewhat addicted to the comic - and I really wish I could give yourself and others their fix more frequent than once a week. I hope you continue to read, and to give us such good feedback - c-

The thing that surprises me with this comic - unlike most others I read... granted, I read a lot of webcomics, but the amount of them that are taking a serious try at storytelling, let alone believably so, can be counted at my fingers - is this: Every page, I can look at, nod, and think to myself, "Yes, I can see that happening." ... Great. I think I'll have to wait a week for the next fix of my new drug, have I.

Ahh yes, Karen - but if you notice, he doesn't seem like he wants to be involved - eyes down officer....know your place. Makes you wonder what intimidation North really has on the younger officers that they don't rat him out, that is if they have anyone to rat him out to. The real question is; who's in & who's out? Also, who benefits from this project? To be honest - If I were North, the less people involved, the better - but I guess that's the problem with corruption - and thinking you're above...well everything. Eventually someone might grow a pair and take down the whole ship - preferably a crazy person with an arsenal of flaming nails.... hey, I can dream can't I? :)

And the guard just stands sont-faced in the background while these fellahs talk about crooked careers and under-the-table deals... Why does that nag me so? XD

Thanks, Sam! - Yeah you know North...LOL

Interesting, and wow, his finger must hurt pretty damn bad after slamming it down like that.
