LS: Behind the curtain

Hey guys, I've had a  few people ask me what my process is when developing these issues. Though I don't have time to go into it fully, I thought I'd post a little something I found recently to show a little of what it's like. First is a quick indication of how I convert rough ideas into a scene. When I, or others of the trust have an idea, I create a quick concept script to refer back to when developing the structure of the story. Here you see a rough script of 3 sections. The end of the hospital scene with Dan and Kira. Dan's realization of Tyler's act (and cross over of the LS at the bar) As well as, a little bit in the apartment and the development of the Scaper gauntlet of DOOM. Once these ideas are roughed out, I then refine the scene to fit into the constructs of the the current arc. This is how it all comes together in the final pages of the comic.

Here are some concept sketches of Tyler / Pumpkin Jack & Dean: Everything starts pretty rough, just to get the idea of characters - As you can see, Tyler went through a few alterations before becoming the Pumpkin we all know.   Some more concepts of PJ and Tyler.

Concept sketches of Dean (also went through a few alterations before becoming the main antagonist to the Scaper.)
