Hey guys, well I’ve finally got a chance to sit down to update another LS post. My U.S. holiday highlight thus far would have to be spending some time at Midtown Comics in New York city. This has to be one of the coolest comic shops I’ve ever been to. The second you walk in you know… these are my kind of people. The shop is huge, wall to wall with comic books, action figures and just awesome comic related stuff everywhere. We just so happened to come in on the night where they were celebrating Marvel’s 70th anniversary, SCORE!. We were greeted at the entrance by Spider-man and Iron man offering us donuts and assorted soft drinks. Who am I to say no to such iconic heroes, offering us free stuff. I quickly scarfed one of their lovely pastries, then proceeded to have our photo taken with Spidey & and Tony Stark…basically still with a donut in my mouth, Doh!
This was also the night the MTC crew was doing online interviews with store patrons for Marvel.com, in which I was able to plug the LS comic (shameless plug), but it doesn’t look like it made it to the final edit on the Marvel site – 
No worries, it was still an awesome night – However, Kirsty and I made a quick appearance in this video (6:31) over Iron Man’s right shoulder. Amazing job with everything Midtown Comics, keep up the great work. Happy birthday Marvel
